Okay, here’s what Jessica canned last week:
91 quarts of nectarines
45 pints of salsa
33 quarts of diced tomatoes
30 quarts of tomato soup
11 pints of nectarine jam
With help from the kids of course. Natalie ties on her apron in the midst of the chaos. Middle left you see our satellite-dish-sized bowl with the latest batch of tomato mush.
And here she is with her harvest. We’ve taken it into the laundry room prior to moving it down into the root cellar. Jessica is writing the year on the lids so we know what to use last. Super-Girl!
WAY to go Fluckiger's. That is what I call food storage! Some day… I hope to be like you!
Hey Doug, you've mentioned before that you've worked as a chimney sweep. Could you write an article on how to obtain the right equipment and perform your own chimney maintenance? Thanks!Steve
Wow. Super-Girl is right! That's quite the accomplishment. I've got to email this to my self-titled friend the "mad canner" Megan.Enjoy your lovely fruit!
Wow, that is awesome! Good job!
